I still am, a cheerleader!

Day Job: Mom to Mondo and Lola Hooping House: Chichester, UK Born: In the USA Netty grew up in the Pennsylvania countryside. She was crazy about dance and gymnastics from an early age. Her parents taught her how to ski at the age of 4 at the family’s cabin in the Pocono mountains. Later she moved to a house down the road from a small ski resort (like a dream come true), ice skated every winter on the frozen river, ran and jumped on the athletics team, was a cheerleader for 6 years, played piano and sung in a choir from an early age. Most summers were spent sailing together as a family on the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland. Netty studied pharmacy at the University of Rhode Island (she also majored in the great local music scene on the side!). She worked in the US as a pharmacist, pharmacy supervisor, and recruiter. To hone her windsurfing skills she relocated to the Hawaiian island of Maui where she met her husband, Peter Hart, professional windsurfer and film maker. They traveled around the world together and made their permanent home in England, Peter’s home patch. They both share their love of sport and music so the tale continues... After spotting Michelle Obama and her daughter hooping it up Netty gave it a whirl and was hooked. She completed the Bodyhoops Teacher Training course in October 2008.
